What can I tell you about how I’m continuing to learn and evolve as I establish my business consultancy?
At times I’ve had to really dig deep and find the energy to find a way through when all the odds seem like they were against me.
But I kept believing and in doing so I was always halfway there.

I’m a firm believer that if you stand still long enough, you’re effectively going backwards. So I kept moving forward, even if my path wasn’t always clear, I believed in the journey towards my destination.
As I begin a new leg of my journey as a business consultant, it really got me thinking about my own continuing development.
So what am I doing that I tell my clients to do?
Well, I’m still learning, reading, experimenting and listening.
First and foremost, I am at the very heart of my brand and business. My investment is more than financial and I am known and respected for this across the industries that I have worked in.
Making my way in the digital world is becoming increasingly exciting; @mindmap productions have introduced me to the savviness of video content that shifts far beyond the still imagery that I was previously used to.
I will not lie, my confidence did not come naturally but it certainly hasn't taken long. With the right direction, you can be centre stage in no time.
Having the dream team is key. It’s like having your own personal shopping experience with different experts that want to help you dress in the best suit and wear it well. Behind the scenes I have @Emma, mentoring clients, creating portfolios, creating content and interpreting my intellectual property. She has creativity, passion and shares my drive.
There are other important people around me, too. Team support and expertise from Jonathan Leafe and creative guidance and wizardry from Paul Leeson Taylor and Peter Hadfield
My advice? Sketch out your plans. Collaborate with other ‘artists’ and create a vibrant palette of colour. Experiment with style and express you, your brand and your message.
Be brave, be bold and go for it. You never know, you just might create a masterpiece that people will want to talk about now and for years to come.
